Two courses (3 US/6 ECTS credits each): 
• Roman Spain: Archaeology, Culture and Heritage
• Spanish language course (all levels)

• Roman Spain - English
• Spanish language course - Spanish/English

• Lectures covering a wide variety of historical & social events and phenomena

Accommodations:
• Residence hall offers half board from Sunday dinner to Friday breakfast except for holidays.  Free WiFi Internet access.

Student Qualifications:
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Open to Juniors and Seniors only
• Must be seriously excited by the prospect of a hands-on dig

Fees (all fees subject to change without notice):

Students paying the full program fee by 28th February will be eligible for the early payment discounted fee of $4950 only.

The regular Program fee is $5495.00 and includes:
• Host university tuition at the Universitat Rovira I Virgili
• Excavation transport, tools, materials, laboratories
• Course-related activities and field trips in Spain
• Residence hall accommodation for duration of program
• Meals in residence hall half board from Sunday dinner to Friday breakfast except for holidays
• WiFi access in residence hall
• Airport transfer from Barcelona Prat airport on specified dates
• Orientation
• On-site program director
• Administrative fees

Fee does NOT include: Airfare to Spain, weekend meals (Friday - Sunday lunch), meals on holidays, meals purchased outside of residence hall, health insurance, personal spending money, passport fees, visa fees, fees at student's home campus.

 

Tarragona was the capital of Roman Iberia. This ampitheatre is one of the city's focal points.
