NAFSA 2010 was our busiest ever, with many visitors to our exhibition table and our first-ever evening reception that attracted about 50 of our colleagues on a steamy Kansas City night.  We hope everyone has a a great summer...and that we see you soon.

The British Accreditation Council has awarded Academic Solutions full accreditation status based on a highly successful inspection visit in February 2010 as well as our adherence to their stringent standards.  This accreditation supports our Tier 4 Sponsor status with the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) which means we are able to sponsor US students and student interns now and into the future.  Our first sponsored group arrives from the University of Illinois on 19th May 2010.

We are delighted to welcome Emma Armshaw to our UK & Ireland team.  Emma will share her overseas living experience and knowledge with our students, supporting them throughout their stay in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  She has studied and worked abroad in London, most recently as a member of the Florida State University London Centre team.  Welcome!

Academic Solutions has been awarded a Tier 4 Educational Sponsor License by the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA), allowing us to sponsor student visas, a distinct advantage for our overseas university partners running internship programs in the United Kingdom.  We can issue the official sponsorship letters (soon to be on-line) that your students need.

Ryan is looking forward to meeting US and Spanish university partners at the EAIE Conference in Madrid.  While there he will confirm new partnerships for May, June and September 2009.  Please send him an email if you would like to meet.
