Academic Coordinator: Dr. Bojko Bučar is Head of the International Relations Division at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana with responsibility for post-graduate international and diplomatic studies. His research is focused on International Relations and questions of International Law. Dr. Bučar is an expert on Foreign Policy and the Balkans as an area study.

Program Director: Ryan Lorenz (MA) has directed US study abroad programs since 1989 in Kenya, England and Slovenia. He has also published field research on conflict prevention in the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia. Ryan is the Director of Academic Solutions, a study abroad program provider that works with nearly a dozen US university programs in Europe. Ryan is a co-founder of the Conflict Management in the Balkans Program.

Senior Program Coordinator: Kristina Ober is a graduate student of Defense Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana and has co-ordinated the Security and Defense Program for undergraduate students at the University. Kristina is a co-founder of the Conflict Management in the Balkans Program.

UN Trainer: Dr. Giovanni Ercolani is a specialist in International Terrorism, Security Studies, International Relations, Human Security, Conflicts, Peacekeeping and International Conflict Resolution, the Geopolitics of Energy, and Turkey and the Caucasus. His professional experience extends to academia, defense, and multinational organizations. As a UNITARPOCI Research Associate Dr. Ercolani is responsible for teaching UNITAR seminars sponsored by Academic Solutions.
